Abstract

This study examines the strategic, operation, and socio-cultural challenges faced by IT outsourcing firms in Pakistan. Using and exploratory qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with senior management and internal documentation analysis. The findings reveal that economic instability, political uncertainingy, legal asymmetry, skilled workforce shortages, cultural misalignment, time zone disparities, and data security concerns are key obstacles affecting outstanding performance. Drawing upon socio-technical theory this research proposes a contextualized mitigation framework integrating governance mechanisms, digital collaboration infrastructure, talent development strategies, and adaptive contract models. this study contributes to outsourcing Literature by focusing on vendor-side challenges withing emerging economies. Practical implications are provided for IT firms operating in cross-border outstanding environments.
